U.S. Rep. Abraham says Gov. Edwards suffers from a 'lack of trust'

On the day when Governor John Bel Edwards took center stage at the capitol and opened the special legislative session, Congressman Ralph Abraham decided to take a swipe at him while speaking to the Baton Rouge Press club

“For me it boils down to something simple," Abraham said. "The thing that I hear more and more than anything else is a lack of trust.”

Abraham says Edwards' position on how to pull the state out of the billion dollar deficit is proof positive Edwards is not being truthful.

“Taxes, for sure the sales tax. When somebody tells you something they should do something. When they tell you something and they do something different, I have a problem with that,” Abraham said.
