A top-ranking Republican in Congress who nearly died in a shooting is back on Capitol Hill tonight. A divided Washington set aside differences to warmly welcome back House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. Our Washington Bureau's Alana Austin has reaction from his colleagues.
Republicans and Democrats came together Thursday to celebrate the return of one of their own.
"You have no idea how great this feels to be back here at work in the people's house," said Rep. Steve Scalise.
