Lawmakers gear up for blockbuster Supreme Court battle
With a razor-thin Republican majority in the U.S. Senate, President Donald Trump now works to get his latest pick to the U.S. Supreme Court confirmed. Federal appeals court judge Brett Kavanaugh is meeting with members on Capitol Hill beginning Tuesday in an effort to win their votes in what's expected to be a contentious partisan battle before the 2018 midterm elections.
