LA Lawmakers react to U.S. airstrike on Syria

Late Friday night into early Saturday morning, the U.S. launched an airstrike on Syria in response to an alleged chemical weapons attack from the Syrian government on Syrian civilians.
On Saturday, Congressman Ralph Abraham and Senator John Kennedy reacted to the airstrike.
In a phone interview, Congressman Abraham said in part, ""The strikes were targeted, they were appropriate, and they were successful. So, look, I'm glad the President ordered the military strike. It certainly was the right thing to do. We cannot allow evil people like Assad, or anyone, to gas their people and get away with it."
