House mourns Franklin Parish HS football player killed after fielding punt

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Ralph Abraham, R-Alto, Thursday paid tribute to Franklin Parish football player Tyrell Cameron who died after fielding a punt during a football game last Friday.
"Tyrell's death is a tragedy that has deeply touched the lives of so many people back home," Abraham said in a speech on the House floor. "I spoke today to honor his memory and to let his loved ones and his community know that I am thinking about them during this difficult time."
Abraham said that Tyrell was "a bright student at Franklin Parish High School with a promising future, surrounded by a supportive and loving community."
