Abraham talks infrastructure, jobs with St. Landry leaders
When he visited Opelousas to meet with local leaders, Rep. Ralph Abraham offered one message: I want to help.
The freshman congressman who represents Louisiana’s 5th District told Opelousas Mayor Reggie Tatum, St. Landry Parish president Bill Fontenot and the mayors of Krotz Springs and Port Barre that he is willing to help their areas with infrastructure, education and jobs.
“We want to see what their needs are and what we can do at the federal level for them and when we go back to Washington next week,” Abraham said.
