6 new primary care physicians graduate in Alexandria
“The Alexandria Family Medical Center Residency welcomed a new group of graduates on Saturday evening.
The keynote speaker was Congressman Ralph Abraham. He said there's a shortage of primary care physicians in Louisiana, and he expects these graduates to be future leaders.
"Just leadership, accountability, confidence,” said Congressman Abraham. “This is what we have to instill in our young physicians going forward because they are going to be our community leaders. They are going to be our state leaders. And hopefully they'll be our national leaders."
