528th Battalion homecoming

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - 150 soldiers with the 528th Battalion are home once again, after being deployed to Kuwait for engineering duties.

Congressman Ralph Abraham made an appearance as a veteran in support of the National Guard's service overseas.

"We want to give them all due honor, and just say a heart felt thank you," Abraham said.
