WASHINGTON - Congressman Ralph Abraham, M.D, R-Alto, today voted in favor of a House resolution demanding that the Department of Justice (DOJ) comply with requests from Congress to turn over documents relating to possible abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by DOJ personnel.

WASHINGTON - Congressman Ralph Abraham, M.D., R-Alto, is calling on Congress to censure Maxine Waters, D-Calif., for urging her supporters to confront and harass members of the Trump administration.

Dr. Abraham is an original cosponsor of H. Res. 966, which would formally censure Waters for her comments. The resolution was introduced Tuesday evening by Congressman Ralph Norman, R-SC.

WASHINGTON -- The GOP-led House Wednesday approved legislation to block President Barack Obama's major immigration executive orders, despite a threatened veto and complaints from some Republicans the bill is too harsh and won't make it through the GOP-led Senate.

One amendment would block the president's November executive order deferring temporarily deportations of some illegal immigrants, mostly parents of children who are citizens with permanent legal status.

CAMP MINDEN, La. -- Local congressmen and senators are demanding answers from the Environmental Protection Agency.

It's over concerns of a possible open air burn of a military chemical at Camp Minden, called M6. They're worried and wondering, if it could hurt Louisiana residents beyond Webster Parish.

Congressman Ralph Abraham says as a doctor, it's hard for him to feel comfortable with the EPA's idea to burn the chemical.
